Handwritten and signed letter, addressed to Jemima D. Goforth, dated Aug. 5, 1829, and written in Bethany, Virginia. Campbell expresses thanks for previous letters and tells of his preaching the "pure apostolic Gospel" and visiting churches. He tells of the missionary activities of his movement and of the successes in gaining new converts.
